It has walnut grips with "IS" in circle inserts. The barrel and magazine are marked "6.35 m/m." The bottom of the frame is marked "GERMANY," along with the serial number. The left side of the slide is marked "DEUTSCHE WERKE ERFURT." The right side is marked "ORTGIES' PATENT." Behind the triggerguard is a proofmark that looks like a Chrysler symbol with an "N" under it. It is 51/2 inches long with a 21/3-inch-long barrel. Q: I have a little pistol I need identified. Funny thing is, the Dewtsche Werke factory was destroyed during WWII.
